Inspired by our Lebanese heritage, everything we serve here is designed to capture the hearts (and taste buds) of our patrons, and give them a glimpse into our rich culture, authentic recipes, ethnic food, and native cuisine. We take great joy in introducing diners to the new experiences, and expanding their horizons to try fantastic food combinations, flavors, and ingredients they have never even imagined.
Noura means “light” in Arabic. Our restaurant serves as a bright beacon for those looking for a one-of-kind dining experience. Our traditional menu features Mediterranean – Middle Eastern and Lebanese favorites that make for a delightful escape from an ordinary night out.
Noura Café: A History
Since 2009 Noura Cafe has been locally-owned and operated right here in Jacksonville by the husband and wife team of Raymond and Noura Abi Khahil. A Lebanon native who emigrated to the United States in the 1980s, Raymond has more than 25 years of food service experience and previously established two Jacksonville restaurants.
Recently Raymond and Noura expanded the restaurant and added a private room to accommodate their patrons for fine dining events and celebrations. In adding private event space, Raymond and Noura knew they could bring their unique style of cooking and hospitality to others outside of their own location! Noura Café also expanded into catering in recent years, now offering fine food and services for all your family and corporate events.
A Traditional Menu:
Mezzah (tapas), kibbeh ball, za’atar dip, tabbouleh, hummus, baba ganoush, grape leaves, falafel – all the most amazing and genuine Lebanese tastes are represented here at Noura, but never Americanized in their preparation. All of our offers – from our pitas, hot sandwiches, oven pies, and kababs to our gyro platters, vegan dishes, salads and large family meals resonate with flavorful, unique ingredients familiar to a true Mediterranean palate.
Open from 8:00a.m. to 9:00p.m., our restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, includes a store where Lebanese spices and groceries can be purchased, and offers catering, carry out, and private event space for a culinary experience that is as easy as it is exquisite.
